PRISM™ Momentum

Alignment and Execution for Leadership Teams

Where the issues are clear — and the team needs to move together.

Most leadership teams do not fail because they lack strategy. They fail because clarity — often on multiple fronts at once — does not translate into coordinated movement. The right issues get identified. The team agrees. And then — nothing quite happens the way it was meant to.

PRISM™ Momentum is a facilitated alignment and execution engagement designed for leadership teams that already know what needs to move — and need structured support making it move together, in the same direction, over long enough for progress to become real. Momentum is not a follow-on to Lens or a preparation for the Framework. It is a distinct engagement built for the specific problem of turning strategic clarity into coordinated organizational action.

When Momentum Fits:

How Momentum Works:

Momentum is designed for the specific moment when leaders are saying things like:

  • "We know what the issues are, but the team is not moving together."

  • "We have clarity, but execution is uneven."

  • "There is too much drift after every meeting."

  • "Ownership is not translating into follow-through."

  • "We need help getting the right people aligned around these initiatives — and making them move."

Every Momentum engagement moves through four disciplined phases over four to six months.

  • 1. Alignment — Confirming the issues, the leverage points, and what progress must now look like. This phase eliminates the false-agreement problem — where leaders appear aligned but are actually operating from different understandings of the situation.

  • 2. Ownership — Clarifying roles, decision rights, and expectations. This phase eliminates the diffused-accountability problem — where the issues are real but no one is carrying them with enough authority to move them.

  • 3. Execution — Establishing recurring operating rhythms and accountability mechanisms. This phase eliminates the drift-after-alignment problem — where the team agrees but execution stays inconsistent.

  • 4. Stabilization — Reinforcing new patterns until they hold on their own. This phase eliminates the short-lived-improvement problem — where early traction disappears once attention shifts elsewhere.

What You Receive:

Momentum produces a working set of executive-level artifacts designed to keep the leadership team aligned, executing, and evaluating progress in real time:

  • Momentum Activation Brief — defines the issues, the leverage points, and the engagement objective

  • Alignment Map — holds the leadership team in a shared understanding of the work

  • Shared Execution Plan — turns alignment into owned actions, milestones, and success signals

  • Momentum Tracker — monitors movement, blockers, wins, and slippage in real time

  • Momentum Review Summary — assesses what changed, what did not, and whether deeper work is warranted

These are not presentation artifacts. They are working documents designed to drive action during the engagement, not to be filed after it.

Where Momentum Fits:

PRISM™ Momentum is one of three distinct entry points into the PRISM™ Methodology — each designed for a different situation, not a different tier of the same one.

PRISM™ Lens is for the individual executive who needs clarity on a single leverage point. PRISM™ Momentum is for the leadership team that already has clarity — often on more than one leverage point — and needs structured support translating it into aligned, disciplined execution. PRISM™ — The Leadership Continuity Framework is for the organization ready to build the long-term continuity architecture that carries leadership through growth, pressure, and succession.

Momentum is not a larger version of Lens. It is a distinct engagement designed for a distinct problem: helping a leadership team align, own, execute, and reinforce multiple critical initiatives over three to six months. Some Momentum engagements resolve the work and end there. Others surface deeper structural questions and lead into the Framework. Both outcomes are legitimate. Momentum is designed to stand on its own.

How To Engage:

Format: A facilitated 4–6 month engagement including working sessions, sponsor and leader check-ins, and recurring execution reviews between sessions.

Best-fit participants: Executive teams, senior leadership teams, and cross-functional leadership groups accountable for moving multiple strategic initiatives forward.

Investment: Scoped to the specific engagement, calibrated to the executive group involved, the number and complexity of the leverage points, and the depth of the alignment and execution work required. Confirmed in the initial conversation before any engagement begins.

Next step: Start the conversation. I will respond personally to arrange an initial discussion of fit and scope.
